Welcome, Liberty Families!
We are LEAF, a nonprofit that supports the entire Liberty community. We need input from you to know how we can best help our school thrive—all of our students, teachers, staff, and families at Pittsburgh Liberty K-5!
LEAF is a parent-teacher organization. Each year, we plan and/or support:
- enrichment for our kids, like books, field trips, extracurriculars, and scholarships for advanced learning opportunities
- fun events, like Skate Night, Fun Fair, and Dia de los Muertos
- teacher appreciation, like meals, gifts, and professional development
- teacher reimbursements, like classroom supplies and items for school events
- communications, like our newsletter, Facebook, and this website
- summer playdates & uniform swaps at Liberty's school playground
For the 2023-24 school year, our meetings will be held on the second Tuesdays of each month (see agendas and minutes here).
And if you can’t make a meeting, email us your thoughts and ideas, or sign up to volunteer!
