Lend a hand with a future LEAF event (Fun Fair, Skate Night, Dia de los Muertos, etc.), or with general duties that keep our parent-teacher organization humming along (communications, fundraising, leadership). Below are a few ways parents and guardians can volunteer for LEAF. And we're always open to new ideas! For more information, attend our monthly meetings or contact us!
This is a team effort! The President (or co-presidents) and Vice President oversee the organization of LEAF, which includes the following (how to operate is also described in our LEAF manual).
Take notes at our monthly meeting.1 hour/month
Help with LEAF's newsletter, Facebook page, and flyers.1-2 hours/week
We're open to new ideas! In the past we've done restaurant nights, bake sales, candy sales, Facebook, and online campaigns.
3 hours/year
Help us plan our annual evening of family fun (bouncy houses, games, food, oh my!).1-2 hours/week in April/May
Our annual evening event for this delightful Mexican holiday celebrating the lives of deceased friends & family.
1 hour, 3-4 times/year
