Our annual after-school dance, Amorcito y Yo (loved one and me), organized by our amazing Liberty faculty. ❤️
Black History Month is a cherished tradition at Liberty. This year, our kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade starred in a play written and organized by Ms. Dennison: "Because They Did, We Can."
For a heart-warming and inspiring treat, watch what our kindergartens did to celebrate in music class with Mr. Corbett.

As a Spanish language magnet, Pittsburgh Liberty K-5 celebrates this delightful Mexican holiday, a lively and joyous celebration of beloved friends and family who are deceased. Celebrants build ofrendas (altars) with the departed loved ones' photos, momentos, and favorite foods, and gather together for food and fun. Since this year we could not do our usual potluck supper, auction, and giant schoolwide ofrenda, instead we met online for games, prizes, and a slideshow of our students' creations. Here are the ofrendas and other artwork our families submitted. (Song: "La Bruja," Tlen Huicani & Lino Chávez)
To our beloved teachers at Pittsburgh Liberty K-5! Your students and their families miss you and can't wait to see you again. ¡Gracias, salud, y hasta la vista!
